In These Pictures

Something that people may not expect of me is that I am a dedicated cat mom. A lot of what I do is to give my pets the best life they could. When working on this project it was something that was uncomfortable to do, since I don’t like to do art based on myself even more so when it is focused on the negatives. The concept for my project “My Gallery”, was to create a gallery wall showing images of what people expect of me and the other version is showing who I truly am. One of the major times where I did not feel seen is with family. My brother and I when we were growing up we were the only ones who did not speak Spanish, and so that was something that was brought up a lot in family gatherings. It is still brought up today.
