The Armada Set Free

John Moguel

I am often perceived as shy, naive, and new to the world. I’m someone who appears creative but with only the potential to be great, not yet grown or developed. I’m invisible unless I speak up, and dismissed when I express too strongly of an opinion. I feel that my hesitation to break out keeps me locked away. While I can be soft-spoken, people don’t expect that I’m a knowledgeable, articulate speaker and adviser. I’m able to act as a productive mediator and give advice to different parties. I know how to handle conflicts involving sex, relationships, friendships, gender politics, and identity issues. I’ve also done extensive research on different historical and cultural subjects, and continue to learn about the politics of everyday life. I am equipped with a collection of ideas and thoughts that burst forth like an army ready to conquer.
