La Morena

This project makes me feel heard, it is something I have never tried drawing. My concept is surrounded around how my looks: my sex, the color of my skin, and my demeanor, may be misjudged. I am not overdramatic, make-up obsessed, or harsh. I am kind, proud, and humorous. I did not feel seen was when I was younger and picked on by the other kids. Other people may not know that I love to draw from life, especially portraits.
